NEWAY External Doors with Fingerprint Reader — Is This a Good Solution?

Fingerprint Reader

Our NEWAY doors in Gold and Platinum standards are equipped with an access control system operated by a fingerprint reader. With this system, the “key” is always at hand in the form of a fingerprint. Up to 99 users’ fingerprints can be coded for the door with a reader, allowing them to individually unlock the door.

How Does the Fingerprint Reader Work in Entry Doors?

The reader registers our fingerprint through a linear sensor and performs an analysis. The result is compared with the stored biometric data, and upon a match, it unlocks the door. To ensure the reader functions properly, the finger should be moved over the sensor in a calm and even motion in the correct position. The best results are achieved with the index, middle, and ring fingers.

A child’s fingerprint can be recorded starting from the age of 5.

Fingerprint Reader and Security

A fingerprint reader is nothing more than a finger scanner. Currently, the world is highly technologically advanced, and many security measures can be breached very quickly. The use of biometric devices, such as a fingerprint reader, helps us secure our homes. The fingerprint reader in Neway doors provides better protection than a standard key. Additionally, it is equipped with a Bluetooth function, which allows for easy and secure user management.
